I grew up wanting to be an artist, and I have spent my life exploring many different art forms. I have been a trained dancer for 16 years, I played/play several instruments, and currently, my main focus is visual arts and video editing. I think it is essential that I am well-versed in other art forms because it helps deepen my artwork in a very positive way. My art is heavily inspired by impressionist artists such as Monet but also influenced by cartoons. In particular, much of my art style is specifically drawing from Studio Ghibli movies because of the colorful nature as well as its deep association with music throughout the films which helps inspire my work. Another influence on my artwork is the concept of change, whether that be documenting change over time or altering/distorting my artwork. 

My focus this past year has been on the human body, and specific areas that I can focus on to help me fully grasp anatomy and find beauty in the small differences between peoples' features.*

My other main focus this past year has been collage and zines. While most of this has been using my extensive sticker, washi tape, and deco collections rather than my own personal work (it is also incorporated in) I consider this to be one of my greatest strengths and some of my favorite projects to work on.
